General Questions
How far is the walk to the river?
Approximately 50-60 metres from the lodge.
Can we bring our pets?
No, sorry, due to the wildlife on site we cannot allow pets.
Is firewood provided?
You are welcome to use what you find on site, but if you want larger pieces you need to bring/buy your own.
Where can I find more information about the area?
Gloucester Tourist information is a fantastic hub of information for different walks / wineries and popular things to do around the area: barringtoncoast.com.au
Where are the nearest shops?
Gloucester is a 12-minute drive away (IGA, Woolworths and smaller shops). Also, Barrington General Store is 7kms away and provides; basic essentials, fuel & takeaway.
Do you have mobile reception?
No TV or mobile reception. If you are with Telstra you may get a couple of bars at the gate. The nearest place for Optus is in Barrington township.

Cabin Questions
What facilities are in the cabins?
Kitchenette, cutlery, crockery, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, TV with DVD player (please note no TV reception available), air conditioning & bathroom.
What bedding is supplied?
All bedding is supplied in cabins. Sheets, quilt, pillow, and towels.
Is there a fireplace?
Each cabin has a fire pit for a fire at the front/side. There is also an undercover spot in the unpowered camping space that can be used in wet weather.
Lodge Questions
A base sheet / pillow and pillow case. You need your own top sheet, blankets & towels.
What bedding is supplied?
Yes, power is high on the wall in each room and can be used with an extension lead (supplied). There is a heater or fan in each room depending on the season
Is there power in the rooms?
Do I have to walk far to the toilets?
The Lodge bathrooms are situated close to the lounge room end of the building under the same covered roof line. Room 1 and 8 share a wall with the amenities.
Do I get exclusive use of the five acres?
When you hire the lodge you get use of the grounds (five acres), and exclusive use of the eight rooms in the lodge, bathrooms, lounge and indoor and outdoor kitchens.
Is there easy access for canoes/kayaks?
Yes, there are easy access points.
Is the outdoor kitchen fully equipped?
Yes, we have a full range of pots / pans / bowls / cutlery / urn / toaster / chopping boards & knives.
Is there a fireplace?
There is a slow combustion fireplace in the Lodge lounge room.There is an outdoor firepit as well as an undercover fireplace in the camping area.
Is firewood provided?
Please bring your own firewood. You are welcome to use any debris/timber found on the ground on the property.
Camping Questions
Camping is only permitted with a full Lodge booking.
There is no stand-alone camping.
